We are incredibly honored to recognize Shane Green, a lifelong educator at Arapahoe School, as our Teacher of the Month. With 36 years of teaching, coaching, tutoring, and mentoring, Shane has dedicated his life to serving students and his school community with unmatched heart and commitment.
Nominated by his wife, Tammy Green, she shares just how deeply Shane has poured himself into this work:
“My husband has taught at Arapahoe School for 36 years. He’s coached, tutored, and shown up to every extra activity. His true love has always been the children—making sure they have snacks, coats, holiday treats, even Pokémon cards or candy to brighten their day. If a teacher needs something, he finds a way to make it happen. This year, he will retire in May after giving his life to these kids. Teaching isn’t just a job to him—it’s a calling.”
