(Pavillion, WY) – The Wind River Cougars dropped a pair of games at Pavillion over the weekend to drop to 0-3 in Southwest 2-A Conference play.
Friday, Wind River fell to Kemmer 50-31, then dropped a 70-34 game to Big Piney Saturday afternoon.
The losses leave the Cougars winless on the season.
Against the Rangers, the Cougars fell behind early, scoring only three points in the opening period on a Darian Perry 3-pointer. They trailed 25-9 at the half.
Perry paced the Cougars with 13 points.
Against Big Piney on Saturday, Wind River played well for the first 12 minutes of the game, but a late Puncher run put them up by 10 at the half.
A 23-point burst by Big Piney in the third blew open the game.
