The Mascot Challenge matchup between the Wind River Cougars and the Riverton Wolverines has been one of the most spirited rounds yet — and we love to see the school pride. 🐾
Unfortunately, all that enthusiasm also came with some very creative “robot assistant” activity that started causing technical issues for both the County 10 website and the original poll platform. 🤖
Because of the automated voting attempts and the strain it put on the system, some of the vote totals eventually became unreliable. Rather than risk announcing a winner based on numbers we can’t fully trust, we’re doing the fairest thing we can: rerunning the round on a new, more secure voting platform.
That means both the Cougars and the Wolverines get a clean slate and an equal shot at advancing. 🎉
New Voting Round Details
- 🗳 Voting opens: Tuesday, March 10 at 8:00 a.m.
- ⏱ Voting closes: Thursday, March 12 at 5:00 p.m.
- 🏆Winner moves on to Championship Round
- 🔁 Vote limit: Up to one vote per hour, every hour
The winning mascot will move on to the Mascot Challenge Championship Round.
We absolutely love seeing the schools rally their communities and show their spirit. We just ask that everyone compete fairly and avoid trying to automate or manipulate the voting so the results truly reflect the fans.
