(Lander, WY) – Our Athlete of the Week presented by Wyoming Catholic College is Lander Valley High School swimmer Carter Plaisted.
Carter helped the Tigers win the annual Bruce Gresly Invitational at LVHS last weekend, besting the field of 13 teams. Plaisted was first in all four of his events, including two relays.
He and teammates; Brooks Even, Carson Blackburn and Brody Blunck won the 200 yard medley relay. Plaisted and Blackburn were joined by Gavin Jorgensen and Cameron Woltman to secure victory in the 400 yard freestyle relay.
Individually, Carter won championships in the 200 yard IM and the 100 yard backstroke.
Lander swimmers go to the Cheyenne Invitational this weekend.
