(Lander, WY) – Frankly, we could give it to the entire Lander Valley High School girls swim team this week. But, one of the top Lady Tiger competitors that has somehow omitted the Athlete of the Week distinction thus far is Lander’s Emily Plaisted.
The junior was brilliant at last week’s state championship meet in Laramie. She won the 200 yard IM, was 2nd in the 100 yard breaststroke and was part of the winning 200 yard medley relay team with Cira Hampton, Katy Anderson and Chayse Denton. She was also part of the winning 200 yard free relay team along with Sara Kearns, Vayda Havens and Daegan Reinhardt.
The Athlete of the Week is presented by Wyoming Catholic College in Lander!
