(Fremont County, WY) – Dubois High School senior football player Payson Pluhar is our Athlete of the Week sponsored by Wyoming Catholic College!
Pluhar helped his Rams defeat Hanna-Elk Mountain on the road, 65-31. In a week where many DHS players were injured, Pluhar carried the ball from his running back spot 10 times for 155 yards and an amazing five touchdowns. Defensively, he recorded 18 tackles to lead the way. “He’s a stud,” first-year Head Coach Dan O’Brien summed up.
Quarterback Siler Hess threw three touchdown passes in the game, twice to sophomore Cooper Kintzler. The Rams are back at it Saturday facing #1 Little Snake River at 2:00 p.m.
