(Fremont County, WY) – Our Athlete of the Week, made possible by Wyoming Catholic College in Lander, is LVHS swimmer Vayda Havens!
Havens was part of the 2024 Lander 3A state championship team, which cruised to victory at Cheyenne East High School last Thursday and Friday.
Havens was part of the winning 200 freestyle relay team and the 400 freestyle relay team. Individually, she won the 200 yard freestyle and the 500 yard freestyle, clinching first place in all four of her events.
Havens was named the Athlete of the Meet in Cheyenne Friday.
