(Laramie, WY) – The Wyoming Department of Transportation is dealing with spring snow, wind and ice again in southeastern Wyoming.
For a second morning in a row, WYDOT has been forced to close Interstate 80 eastbound between Rawlins and Laramie due to crashes. Black ice, slick roads, drifting snow and high winds are also listed on the WYDOT website.
Emi Duman posted a photo of a jackknifed semi-truck on Interstate 80 eastbound just before 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 2nd. Emi commented, “black ice, avoid, not worth it.”
As of 8:30 a.m. WYDOT did not have an estimated reopening time posted.
