Crooks Gap Road, which runs through Jeffrey City and south of the community is closed due to winter conditions.
A spokesperson from the Fremont County Transportation Department told us there is no estimate on when the road may be reopened, citing the wind has been a major concern.
The road serves as the most direct route between Jeffrey City and Wamsuter, also connecting with Bairoil.
The Jeffrey City area saw wind gusts in excess of 60 mph Sunday.
