Central Wyoming College men’s cross country team placed 3rd at the Greeno/Dirksen Invitational held at Lake Hastings Park in Hastings, Nebraska. Freshman Parker Jones led the Rustlers with a 10th place finish and a time of 28:48 in the 10K. Brayden Kovick finished 12th (29:03), Lukas Mathews 19th (29:52), Jared White31st (30:30) and Florenzo Bauer 32nd (30:30).
For the second straight week, the women’s team was led by Paige Flock who finished 26th with a time of 22:31 in the 5K. Other top CWC runners were Jessilyn Monahan 47th (24:27), Breanna Beaslin 53rd (25:03), and Sienna Schuler 63rd (26:55).
The Rustlers will run against Montana State University-Northern in the Battle of the Borders on Saturday, September 22nd at Sinks Canyon Center.
