On Wednesday, February 24th, CWC hosted Northwest College where the Rustlers started off strong, leading the first half 37-36. CWC continued to power through the second half, finishing the game with a 88-83 win over Northwest College. This game put the Rustlers at a 1-0 conference record, and an overall 2-7 record.
Freshmen A’Jahni Levias and Steven Long led the Rustlers in both scores and rebounds. Levias led the team, scoring 18 points as Steven Long contributed 13 points to the game. A’Jahni Levias obtained 10 total rebounds, followed by Steven Long who had eight total rebounds. Freshman, Kadyn Koch also contributed 12 points and four rebounds to the win over Northwest.
Up Next: The Rustlers will compete in Rock Springs, WY against Western Wyoming CC on Saturday, February 27th. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00pm MST.
