The team first faced North Platte Community College on November 21, at McDonald-Belton Gym, where they clinched a win, and then encountered McCook Community College on November 22, in McCook, NE, resulting in a loss.
In the game against North Platte, the Rustlers displayed resilience, recovering from a slight lag at the end of the first half with a halftime score of 30-33. Notable performances included Lucy Howard, who scored 18 points, and Izabelle Moyes, who contributed significantly with 12 points including a crucial three-pointer that shifted the lead back to Central Wyoming. Aliyah Newton was also crucial with her top assist contributions, leading the team to a 73-65 victory in a robust final quarter.
