Central Wyoming College President Dr. Brad Tyndall appeared recently on the 10Cast Network show, Indian Relay, to discuss how colleges across the nation can do a better job at connecting with Native American nations.
“I think very much our mission is to help the tribes achieve whatever they want for themselves. Respecting their sovereignty and knowing that if they thrive in the way that they want to themselves, then that’s good for them and it’s better for the greater whole. That’s kind of what we’re about, building communities.” Tyndall described. “It’s very personally rewarding because I like interacting with people of different cultures because I can learn so much, your world view shifts when you learn the wisdom of different people and there’s a lot of wisdom from both tribes.”
