The Wyoming PBS Foundation has welcomed three new members to its Board of Directors, including local resident D. Lynette St. Clair of Fort Washakie.
The other two new board members are Carol Bell of Cody and Sarah Jo Heuck Sinclair of Sheridan.
“I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to D. Lynette, Sarah Jo, and Carol as they join the Wyoming PBS Foundation Board,” said Judd Rogers, Wyoming PBS Foundation Executive Director. “These remarkable women, distinguished leaders in Wyoming, will play a pivotal role in expanding our statewide outreach and advancing our mission to support Wyoming PBS.”
St. Clair is an indigenous education and cultural preservation consultant whose extensive experience in indigenous education includes assisting with the education modules developed for the Wyoming Department of Education and Wyoming PBS, according to a press release.
“I’m deeply passionate about education and the power of public media to educate and inspire,” St. Clair said. “I believe my strategic vision and connections within the indigenous community could be valuable assets to the Board. I’m truly enthusiastic about the Foundation’s mission and am dedicated to contributing to its success.”
St. Clair and Heuck Sinclair fill seats newly added to the Board, while Bell replaces Gloria Hedderman of Powell, who stepped down after completing her third three-year term, the press release states.
The trio of new faces join fellow Board members Wyoming PBS CEO Joanna Kail, Jordan Dresser of Fort Washakie, Scott Estep of Lander, Diana Enzi of Gillette, Gloria Hedderman of Powell, John Kambutu of Laramie, Dan Kirkbride of Chugwater, Cathy Norris of Cheyenne, Jennifer Hamilton of Lander, Holland Duell of Sheridan, and Gary Miller of Sheridan.
The Board of Directors oversees fundraising, events, underwriting, programming, and other Foundation activities that support Wyoming PBS, a non-profit public broadcasting organization serving the state of Wyoming from its headquarters in Riverton.
