The Department of Homeland Security assisted efforts with the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office and the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation in the arrest of a 42-year-old man in Riverton.
Severiano Diaz-Cazares was charged with “Illegal Re-Entry Of A Previously Deported Alien Into The United States” as well as “Illegal Alien In Possession Of A Firearm.”
Chief Federal District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl sentenced him Wednesday, November 14th to serve 24 months of imprisonment, to be followed by 12 months of supervised release. He is also ordered to pay a $200 special assessment fee.
