(Lander, WY) – Get ready for an exhilarating weekend of mountain biking, live music, and all-inclusive, family-friendly fun as the Jurassic Classic Mountain Bike Festival returns to Lander, Wyoming from Friday, August 15th to Sunday, August 17th.

The Jurassic Classic MTB Festival serves as a fundraiser for the Lander Cycling Club.
Friday, August 15th: A Day at CWC Alpine Science Institute
Kick off the festival at Central Wyoming College’s Alpine Science Institute (ASI), located at 44 Central Wyoming College Way, Lander, WY. The day starts with packet pick-up from 8:30 AM to 3 PM, alongside a delicious selection of food trucks and beverages from 11 AM to 3 PM.
Friday features a variety of clinics for ticket holders of all skill levels and ages. Clinics will be led by a variety of local PMBIA certified instructors and include kids clinics, gender-inclusive clinics for all levels, and so much more!
Friday afternoon will be filled with fun games and competitions, including the Foot Down, Bunny Hop, and new this year, the Pump Track Jam!
The evening culminates at Lander City Park (free camping available) with live music from SUSTO and special guest Bob LeFevre & the Already Gone, organized by Lander Presents. Lander Cycling Club will provide a community bike valet. 
Saturday, August 16th: A Day in Sinks Canyon
Enjoy a day in the canyon with brunch, skills clinics, and group rides for all levels. Shuttles by Wind River Shuttle will run from Bruce’s Parking Lot to the Fossil Hill Trailhead as well as a pickup at the end of the NEW Sunnyside Trail from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with mechanical support provided by The Bike Mill and Gannett Peak Sports.
Ride down from Sinks Canyon to Lander City Park for an evening of fun, games, food trucks, artist/vendor booths, and community. Join in the competitive spirit of the Strider Races and the Huffy Toss while partaking in an epic raffle, and beverages provided by Stiegl, Arrowhead Water, and Sierra Nevada N/A.

Sunday, August 17th: Dirt Church Dig Day at Johnny Behind the Rocks
Join our community for a day of trail-building in collaboration with the BLM and a group ride session from 9 AM to 12 PM, followed by lunch provided for the crew.
