(Dubois, Wyo.) – The Dubois area is about to star in a new television commercial for the Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, County Commission Chairman Travis Becker said this week. “It will be for a 2019 model and they’ll shoot on the Horse Creek Road and on Togwotee Pass.”
Becker said the production company doing the shoot wanted good sunrise and sunset lighting for the commercial. “I told them the county is not interested in using our sheriff’s deputies to do traffic control for them,” Becker said. “They said that would not be a problem as they will have their own flaggers and that road closures would be for only three to four minutes at a time. They want the perfect light.”
The commercial shoot will take place this Saturday through next weekend. “They have a one week window,” Becker said. “They will get different shots when they are in the area, and probably some in Jackson, too.”
