(Dubois, WY) – The Fremont County School District 2 (Dubois) Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, in the Board Room at the District Administration Building, 700 N. First St. in Dubois.
The agenda for the meeting includes board reorganizing, with nominations for board chair, board vice chair, board treasurer, and board clerk.
Under the consent agenda, the board will consider approving a $1,850 donation to the Robotics Club from Taylor Creek Sinclair and a $5,000 Child Hunger grant award for student snacks.
The consent agenda also includes a resignation letter from football coach Sampson Rich, who said “with another baby on the way, I want to be home for my family.”
Under presentations and committee reports, the board will hear from educator Ali Baas about “her recent collaboration with the University of Wyoming and use of a stratosphere balloon.”
Discussion items on the agenda include:
- a presentation from Jason Lund regarding the 2023-2024 annual and single audit
- an overview from David Osegueda regarding the district’s FastBridge assessment
- a discussion of a civics class project proposal
The board will consider approving the 2023-2024 annual and single audit later in the meeting, after which they will convene into an executive session regarding personnel.
