(Dubois, WY) – The Dubois Volunteer Fire Department responded to Crooked Creek Drive in the Union Pass Subdivision for a report of a structure fire Monday evening just after 9:00 p.m.
The Dubois Fire Department shared via their Facebook page, that while they were in route to the call, responding units were notified by dispatch there was large “out building” on fire threatening a home and a propane tank.
The Department Chief arrived on scene first and found a 20′ x 30′ building, “totally involved in fire.”
After the first engine arrived, attack lines were used to protect exposures and attack the fire. The fire was brought under control in 10 minutes and only the building initially involved in the fire was a total loss.
No injuries were reported. The fire appeared to have started in a wood stove.
