Each week, staff at Dubois High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Aubree Huntley was nominated as the Dubois High School student of the week by Jacinda Wilson.
Aubree, a junior, is passionate member of the school band and is striving to make it to the state band competition. Mrs. Wilson states, "Aubree continues to grow and mature this year! In band, she is a leader and an integral part of the ensemble. In her role as my teacher's aide, she is always ready to do whatever I need and takes initiative to get things done. She is a delight to have in class, and I love seeing her work and achieve new things!" This sentiment is reiterated by Aubree's other teachers, as well. Aubree hopes to attend ISU after high school.
