Each week, staff at Dubois High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Becca Dowd was nominated as the Dubois High School student of the week by Alison Baas.
"Becca is extremely insightful and demonstrates a depth and breadth of knowledge in her academic coursework. Not only does she strive to expand her learning beyond recall, but she also is kind and compassionate, always assisting others in their learning. For these reasons Becca is highly deserving of this nomination." ~ Mrs. Baas. Becca, a junior, enjoys reading and painting outside of school. After high school, Becca plans to study towards her goal of becoming a child psychologist.
