Each week, staff at Dubois High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Colton Burnett was nominated as the Dubois High School student of the week by Tim Reese.
A freshman at DHS, Colton is in STUCO. He participates in basketball and dirt-biking.
"I really enjoy having Colton in my class. He brings a positive mindset even when he’s faced with challenging tasks, and when I push him to work through things he willingly does. His sense of humor adds a silliness and lightness that puts people at ease. Colton has a range of skills that will enable him to be a leader among his classmates, and succeed throughout his high school career. I’m looking forward to see his journey." -Mr. Reese
After high school, Colton plans to go somewhere warm for college.
