Each week, staff at Dubois High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Damon Sparks was nominated as the Dubois High School student of the week by Kyle Botkin.
“Damon always has a positive attitude and is eager to learn each and every day. He shows a quiet confidence, and leads his peers by example. Damon makes it a point to ask me how I’m doing most days and usually volunteers if there is something he notices that needs to be done in the classroom. He not only excels in his academics, but is polite and friendly to everyone he interacts with during the school day.” ~ math teacher Mr. Botkin. Damon enjoys skating and plans to attend a trade school or community college upon graduation.
