Each week, staff at Dubois High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Ellie Miller was nominated as the Dubois High School student of the week by Bev Hawkins.
"Ellie will have no problem adapting in the 'real world'. As a freshman she maintains excellent grades, takes care of her animals on the family ranch, works at the local Napa store and travels out of district to participate in FFA. Ellie knows how to jump in and work, she's creative, crafty, funny and always ready to get things done with a smile on her face." ~ Social Studies teacher Bev Hawkins. Ellie is involved in FFA at school but stays active out of school by riding dirt bikes, snowmobiling, and generally enjoying the outdoors. Ellie plans to study agricultural science after high school.
