Each week, staff at Dubois High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Franklin Mincey was nominated as the Dubois High School student of the week by Kyle Botkin.
Math teacher Mr. Botkin says of Frank, “Frank arrives at class each day with a positive attitude. He has a strong work ethic while still managing to have fun in class. Frank is polite and respectful, and is a leader both in and out of school.”
Franklin plays football, loves playing basketball, and enjoys weight-lifting. He aspires to attend Duke University in North Carolina after graduating from high school.
