Each week, staff at Dubois High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Kenzy Day was nominated as the Dubois High School student of the week by Tim Reese.
Art teacher Tim Reese nominated Kenzy, “because she exemplifies so many characteristics of a successful student. She shows maturity and leadership not only in her dedication on the court, but also in her classes. She’s always applying herself in her work, and looking to improve and grow,. But perhaps her most qualifying trait is her positive attitude and big heart.”
Kenzy loves spending time with her family and boyfriend, and is an active participant in her high school, playing varsity volleyball, basketball, and track. After school she plans to become an elementary teacher and coach.
Travis Day and Krista Day are the proud parents of Kenzy.
