Each week, staff at Dubois High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Kenzy Day was nominated as the Dubois High School student of the week by Jennifer Bowles.
"Kenzy is a senior who is already doing the work of her future profession. As she prepares to pursue a degree in early childhood education, she is working closely with our first graders and doing an absolutely fabulous job. Kenzy is a natural leader, a dedicated athlete (volleyball, basketball, and track), and truly a teacher at heart. She is going to be so good at what she does, and we are lucky to have her. Our youngest learners—and their teachers—are lucky to have her, too!"
Kenzy is heading to Black Hills State to teaching and special education.
