Each week, staff at Dubois High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Mona Engleman was nominated as the Dubois High School student of the week by Kyle Botkin.
“Mona comes to class each day with a positive attitude. She participates in class and always seems to find enjoyment no matter the topic being discussed. Mona is personable and friendly, respectful to her peers and teachers, and always gives her best to the task at hand.” ~ Math teacher Kyle Botkin.
Sophomore Mona is active in basketball and is an avid outdoor sportswoman. She competes in three-day eventing in horse jumping, dirt biking, snowmobiling and roping. After high school she plans to pursue a degree in equine studies and participate on the rodeo team for CWC.
