Each week, staff at Dubois High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Sammie Cyrus was nominated as the Dubois High School student of the week by Nicole Miller.
“It has been a joy watching Sammie grow for hte last 5 years that I’ve known him. He has faced hurdles and grown into a great young man. He has found a passion for graphic design/photography and ended the year as a 2025 WHSAA 2A wrestling state champ! Excited to see where life takes him!” – Mrs. Miller.
Sammie has been on the HS varsity wrestling team for 4 years; he enjoys wrestling, working out, drawing and spending time with friends. He plans to pursue his academic and athletic goals at the collegiate level.
