The small town of Daniel, Wyoming was the coldest place in the lower-48 states both Saturday and Sunday, registering a low temperature both days of -21 degrees.
Daniel is just a few miles west of Pinedale. The rest of the western half of Wyoming was also very chilly, with most places dipping below zero.
West Dubois was the coldest spot in County 10 according to the National Weather Service office in Riverton. Dubois reached -9 Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Temperatures are expected to remain frosty for most of Fremont County this week. Temps are expected to dip below freezing overnight for most of the county this week including Riverton and Lander.
