(Dubois, WY) – The Fremont County School District 2 Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, in the Board Room at the District Administration Building, 700 N. First St. in Dubois.
The agenda includes a discussion about Policy CKA: Staff/Volunteer Concealed Carry.
The board will also discuss several other policies, covering student attendance, high school attendance, student dress, use of cell phones and other electronics, administration evaluations except superintendent, support services evaluations, support staff evaluations, instructional staff evaluations, board hearing/appeals procedures, and rules of practice regarding board hearing/appeals procedures.
Under action items, the board will consider adopting Policy CKA and approving other board policies on first reading.
An executive session will be held regarding personnel and outstanding business, after which the board will consider approving new hires, extra duty contracts, and salaries.
Tuesday’s meeting is open to the public for in-person attendance and will be streamed live on the district’s Facebook page, where past meeting recordings are available.
