(Dubois, WY) – The Fremont County School District 2 Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, in the Board Room at the District Administration Building, 700 N. First St. in Dubois.
The consent agenda includes a $2,000 donation from the Full Curl Club.
“Proceeds are to be used for students in grades 6–12,” the agenda states. “The purpose is for student enrichment through visits to the three local museums: the National Museum of Military Vehicles, The Bighorn Sheep Center and the Dubois Museum.”
The board will also hear committee reports and the superintendent’s report, including a CPI Training presentation from Sammi Robinson, an update from Activities/Athletic Director Dan O’Brien, student reports on the UW Honors College Trip and the State Drama Trip, a presentation from the Student Council representative on plans for spring and upcoming events, and a recognition for the December Employee of the Month.
After hearing updates from Principal Malinda Garcia and Business Manager Amanda Ysen, the board will conduct its committees and representatives reorganization.
Discussion items on the agenda include an Adult Education update and request for a rental waiver totaling $7,000.
The board will also discuss the final audit report, upcoming work sessions and training opportunities, a budget amendment, salary charts, and proposed first-reading board policies on use of cell phones and other electronics and staff ethics/conflict of interest.

After convening into an executive session, the board will consider approving extra duty contracts and advertising of vacant positions.
