(Dubois, WY) – The Fremont County School District 2 (Dubois) Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, in the Board Room at the District Administration Building, 700 N. First St. in Dubois.
The agenda includes a resignation approval for Dubois K-12 Principal Tad Romsa, effective at the end of the 2024-2025 school year.
Romsa’s resignation letter, which is dated Nov. 7, indicates that his resignation will be effective June 30, 2025.
“The past six years have been an amazing experience,” he wrote. “Being the principal at Dubois K-12 School is my dream job. I have enjoyed nearly every minute of the time I was given here.”
He also noted that “the board of trustees has committed to standing by staff when disagreements arise and this does not happen everywhere.”
“You should all be very proud of that!” Romsa wrote.
After hearing presentations, committee reports, visitor comments and administrative and financial reports, the board will discuss:
- upcoming work sessions and training opportunities
- Wyoming School Board Association Delegate Assembly voting items
- 2024-2025 district plumbing services
- 2023-2024 budget amendment
- board priorities
The board will consider approving the 2023-2024 budget amendment and the 2024-2025 district plumbing services later in the meeting.
An executive session will be held for personnel before adjournment.
