(Dubois, WY) – The Fremont County School District 2 Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, in the Board Room at the District Administration Building, 700 N. First St. in Dubois.
The agenda includes the approval of a $680 donation from the Wyoming Hunger Initiative to help cover school meal debt.
The board will also discuss Wyoming House Bill 172 – now House Enrolled Act 24 – which allows people with concealed carry permits to carry concealed weapons at government meetings, public schools, and public colleges or universities in the state.
Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon allowed the legislation to become law without his signature this month.
The school board will convene into an executive session for personnel before adjournment Tuesday.
The meeting is open to the public for in-person attendance and will be streamed live on the district’s Facebook page, where past meeting recordings are available.
