(Dubois, WY) – The Fremont County School District 2 Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, in the Board Room at the District Administration Building, 700 N. First St. in Dubois.
The agenda begins with an executive session, after which the board will hear committee reports and visitor comments, then receive the superintendent’s report, including presentations from Penny Strain about the SPED-ADOS-2 training in September and from middle school teachers about problem based learning training and observation.
The board will also receive a fall sports wrapup, a principal report, and a financial report and discuss board/staff engagement feedback (listening tour).
The board will review the following policies during the meeting:
- DKC Expense Authorization/Reimbursement (second reading)
- JJIF Student Concussions (second reading)
- JJIF-R Concussion, Head Injury, and Traumatic Brain Injury (second reading)
- GBEA Staff Ethics/Conflict of Interest (first reading)
- GBEA-R Staff Ethics/Conflict of Interest Regulation (first reading)
- JICJ Student Use of Cell Phone and Other Electronic Equipment (first reading)
Another discussion will be held about the Wyoming School Boards Association Resolution Delegate (Janean Sellers) Board Vote, and the board will hear from the Facilities, Maintenance and Transportation Department about needs and future planning.
Under action items, the board will consider approving the previously reviewed policies and the WSBA Resolution Delegate Board Vote.
A second executive session will be held before adjournment.
