(Dubois, WY) – The Fremont County School District 2 Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, April 7, in the Board Room at the District Administration Building, 700 N. First St. in Dubois.
The agenda includes one item: an executive session review of superintendent candidates.
The Current FCSD 2 Superintendent, Steve Splichal, has been appointed as the new superintendent for a school district in Kansas, effective July 1, according to an article from Rock Creek Schools.
The article says Splichal spent 27 years working in Kansas public schools before moving to Wyoming.
“I am excited to join the Rock Creek family,” he said in the article. “We can’t wait to come home.”
County 10 reached out to Splichal for comment, but he was unable to respond by the time of publication.
