(Dubois, WY) – The Fremont County School District 2 Board of Trustees will hold three special session meetings this week in the Board Room at the District Administration Building, 700 N. First St. in Dubois.
The first two special sessions will take place at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 13, and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 14.
During those meetings, the board will convene into executive session to interview superintendent candidates.
Both meetings will be followed by superintendent candidate community forums – the first at 5:45 p.m. Monday, April 13, with Karl Wells and Jared Moretti, and the second at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, with Dan Schmidt and Chris Jensen.
The board’s third special session meeting will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 15.
At that meeting, the board will convene into an executive session to deliberate about the superintendent candidates.
After Wednesday’s executive session, the board is tentatively scheduled to direct the Wyoming School Boards Association to make an offer to a potential identified candidate.
The meetings are open to the public for in-person attendance and will be streamed live on the district’s Facebook page, where past meeting recordings are available.
