Dubois Town Council to consider 2026-2027 budget ordinance on first reading during regular meeting Wednesday

(Dubois, WY) – The Dubois Town Council will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, in the Council Chambers at Dubois Town Hall, 712 Meckem Street.

The agenda includes an ordinance on third and final reading amending the title of the Town Marshal to Chief of Police/Town Marshal.

The council will also consider a budget ordinance on first reading adopting appropriations for the town from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.

There is one resolution on the agenda, amending the 2025-2026 budget ordinance to add the Sawmill Bridge Repairs Project.

Other items on the agenda include:

• consider authorizing submittal of the 2026-2027 LGLP membership renewal
• consider a motion that a general tax levy of five mills be made on all taxable property in Dubois
• consider authorizing the mayor as the official voting delegate and Councilmember Rick Lee as the alternate voting delegate for the Wyoming Association of Municipalities business meeting June 3 in Laramie 
• consider approving business licenses
• consider approving Tourism Asset Development grant applications 
• consider approving accounts payable
• consider accepting the March 2026 financial report and approving non-FDIC collateralized cash investments

An executive session will be held if necessary before adjournment.
