Dubois Town Council to consider .75 percent sales tax funding distribution agreement during Wednesday meeting

(Dubois, WY) – The Dubois Town Council will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, in the Council Chambers at Dubois Town Hall, 712 Meckem Street.

The agenda includes a public hearing for the 2025-2026 budget amendment. 

The council will consider approving the budget amendment later in the meeting. 

The council will also consider approving the 2026-2027 Wind River Visitors Council Budget Plan as submitted.

Other items on the agenda include:

• a shared agency agreement with Motorola Solutions Inc. for a shared license for computer-aided dispatch and records, contingent upon receiving Fremont County Sheriff Host Agency Acknowledgment authorization
• an agreement to distribute 100 percent of the town’s proceeds from the optional .75 percent sales tax voters will consider approving in August to the Fremont County Association of Governments for emergency medical services
• a $15,000 agreement with Nelson Engineering for professional services for improvements at the wastewater lagoons 
• a $4,000 agreement with Nelson Engineering for professional services for the Town of Dubois Well NO. 10 Vault Improvement Project
• a $100,000 agreement with Engineering Associates for professional services to assist the town in selecting a contractor and bidding assistance for the location of lead and copper service lines
• a malt beverage permit for VFW Post 10056 for Day of the Cowboy at Town Park on July 25
• TAD grant reimbursement requests
• accounts payable
• TAD accounts payable

An executive session will be held before adjournment.
