(Dubois, WY) – The Dubois Town Council will hold a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, in the Council Chambers at Dubois Town Hall, 712 Meckem Street.
The agenda includes two presentations from the audience: one from Brad Lindsey on airport hangar lease fees, and another from Landon Blakley from Advanced Pump and Equipment regarding the diffusion system (bubbler system) at the lagoons.
The council will also discuss a vacancy on the Dubois Planning Commission and consider approving the town budget ordinance on second reading.
There are two first-reading ordinances on the agenda: one amending the Establishment of Charges and Billing Rules in the town code and another amending the time of all regular meetings to commence at 6 p.m.
The council will also consider approving a resolution authorizing the submission of a grant application to the U.S. Department of Justice for law enforcement funding.
There is one business license application on the agenda, for Lisa Harrington, doing business as Chimney Rock Creations, 5114 U.S. Highway 26.
The council will also consider a temporary catering and open container permit for the National Museum of Military Vehicles (The Canteen) for the July 4 parade and consider approving an agreement for use of property between the Town of Dubois and Fremont County School District 2 for a parking area.
Other items on the agenda include:
- an agreement with Dubois Vision Center for rental of 708 Meckem Street
- an airport fuel contract extension with Wildlife Air, LLC
- an agreement for marketing services
- accounts payable
- TAD accounts payable
- April 2025 financials
An executive session will be held if necessary before adjournment.
