Dubois Town Council to consider special use permit for new short-term rental during regular meeting Wednesday

(Dubois, WY) – The Dubois Town Council will hold a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, in the Council Chambers at Dubois Town Hall, 712 Meckem Street.

The agenda begins with a public hearing on a proposed new short-term rental application from Raymond Oatman, 103 Kelsey Street.

The council will consider approving a special use permit for the short-term rental later in the meeting.

The council will also consider approving the 2025-2026 Wind River Visitors Council Budget Plan.

Other action items on the agenda include:

• a resolution authorizing the mayor to submit grant applications that require no matching funds
• an agreement with KLJ Engineering for professional services at Dubois Municipal Airport 
• a $64,240 pay application from Modern Electric Co. for an automatic vehicle gate replacement at Dubois Municipal Airport
• the purchase of a $268,777 heavy-duty fleet truck from Floyd’s Truck Center
• rescheduling the June 2025 meeting
• a special event permit application for the 2025 Dubois Western Activities Association Pack Horse Race
• temporary catering and open container permits for Rustic Pine Tavern for the Dubois Rodeos
• a subscription service renewal agreement with QTPOD for a self-serve terminal base plan
• accounts payable
• March 2025 financials

An executive session will be held if necessary before adjournment.
