Dubois Town Council to hear from Sheriff candidate John Zerga during regular meeting Wednesday

(Dubois, WY) – The Dubois Town Council will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, in the Council Chambers at Dubois Town Hall, 712 Meckem Street. 

The agenda includes a presentation from Fremont County Sheriff candidate John Zerga.

The council will also consider approving a $2.7 million Lead Service Investigation and Inventory Loan Agreement with the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. 

Other action items on the agenda include:

• consider approving a $5,650 Mechanical Service Agreement renewal with Long Mechanical Solutions – Long Building Technologies for the Headwaters Community Arts and Conference Center
• consider approving a $4,340 Mechanical Service Agreement renewal with Long Mechanical Solutions – Long Building Technologies for Dubois Town Hall
• consider approving a $7,850 change order with Morton Buildings for the Town Shop Project
• consider rescheduling the Nov. 11 meeting to Nov. 10
• consider approving an amendment to the High Country Senior Center Endowment Policy
• consider approving $55,000 disbursement of funds from the High Country Senior Center endowment fund corpus
• consider approving a Tourism Asset Development grant reimbursement requests from Jackson Hole Land Trust, Wind River Program
• consider approving a $1,970 reimbursement to the TAD funds from the general fund
• consider approving a $11,000 agreement with Original Creative Co. to cover an ongoing, annual website and marketing management subscription and a one-time setup fee for digital infrastructure and website modernization
• consider approving accounts payable
• consider approving TAD funds payable
• consider accepting the preliminary June 2026 financial report

An executive session will be held before adjournment.
