(Dubois, WY) – The Dubois Town Council will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, in the Council Chambers at Dubois Town Hall, 712 Meckem Street.
The agenda for the meeting includes a report from Lisa Johnson Mallon about a proposed .75 percent sales tax for the August 2026 primary ballot to fund ambulance services, public transportation, and commercial air service.
“If approved by local governments and voters, this tax would take effect on January 1, 2027,” the agenda states.
The council will also consider approving a Tourism Asset Development grant application from Destination Dubois/Town of Dubois to support the Dubois Frontier for the Discover Dubois Supplement in an amount not to exceed $4,000 as recommended by Destination Dubois.
Other action items on the agenda include:
- consider approving the extension of a USDA/NRCS lease for the upper level of 712 Meckem Street (five-year term to 3/31/2023)
- consider approving the accounts payable list dated Feb. 20, 2026
An executive session will be held if necessary before adjournment.
