At 12:34 AM on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, units from the Fremont County Fire Protection District responded to the area of Alaska Road and Paradise Valley Road for a reported vehicle rollover with fire.
Units responding included Midvale Fire Battalion 8, Central Fire Battalion 1, and Missouri Valley Battalion 4.
Upon arrival, firefighters located a single vehicle that had rolled over and was actively on fire. The fire had also extended into nearby grass along the roadway. Crews quickly worked to extinguish the vehicle fire and contain the small grass fire, preventing further spread.
The occupant was able to exit the vehicle prior to the arrival of emergency responders. (FCFPD Chief Ron Wempen added that “the sole occupant was transported by Ambulance to Riverton Sagewest.”)
Firefighters remained on scene to ensure the fire was fully extinguished and to mitigate any remaining hazards.
The investigation into the accident is being conducted by the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office.
