All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
(Riverton, WY) – 31-year-old Ethete resident Levi Redman was arrested Friday evening on charges of Vehicle Theft, Speeding, Felony Interference, Aggravated Eluding, Possession of Methamphetamine and THC, and DWUI, for a reported series of incidents that occurred on February 13 in Riverton, according to the Riverton Police Department call log issued on February 16.
The RPD call log states that at around 7:45 PM, a caller reported to dispatch that their vehicle was stolen in the area of S 2nd Street West. The caller stated they left the vehicle running in the nearby alley while they “unloaded laundry.”
The RPD call log narrative states that, just prior to the vehicle being reported stolen, Fremont County Sheriff’s Office deputies on patrol attempted to stop a speeding vehicle traveling northbound on South Federal Blvd. (later determined to be Redman), in the stolen vehicle.
“The vehicle failed to yield and fled northbound before turning east onto Fremont Street, where it eventually lost control trying to turn left onto North 10th Street, where it ran into a yard, striking a tree and then a house,” the narrative informs, adding that there was “minimal damage to the house.”
Redman then exited the vehicle and fled, but the Deputy in pursuit caught him “a short time later.”
Redman was ultimately arrested for the charges mentioned above.
