Two small children suffered minor injuries after the vehicle they were riding in was involved in an accident Sunday afternoon.
Riverton Police Department officers responded to E. Lincoln Avenue at 3:18 p.m. Sunday where a Ford Escape and Ford F150 reportedly collided with each other.
The two children received minor injuries according to an RPD media release including one who was “bleeding from the lips.” The ages of the children were not available, but in the release, they were described as “babies.”
Upon investigation, 36-year-old Stefanie BigMedicine was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated and probation revocation. She was also cited for two charges of no child restraint.
Riverton Police Lt. Wesley Romero confirmed to County 10 that the DUI recipient was driving the vehicle the two children were in.
It wasn’t immediately known which of the two vehicles involved that was, or who was responsible for the wreck.
