(Riverton, WY) – As the end of 2025 nears, the Fremont County Fire Protection District (FCFPD) is working to complete numerous annual training evolutions.
One of the trainings this year was to implement personal thermal image cameras and additional radios on the fire ground to improve situational awareness, safety, and communications. 
Donation support from Exxon Mobil this past summer, in the amount of $40,000, has allowed the Fremont County Fire Protection District to purchase the new equipment that volunteers are now training and operating with.
“The equipment has been placed on structure engine companies in FCFPD stations,” Chief Ron Wmpen shared. “FCFPD deeply appreciates the support from industry partners.”
