(Laramie, WY) – A couple involved in a crash south of Laramie on Highway 287 Thursday are hoping to find their canine companion.
The couple’s plans to arrive in Denver were delayed in a major way after becoming involved in a crash about 14 miles south of Laramie near the Wholesale Fireworks store. Adding to the chaos of the situation, their dog immediately ran away after the crash.
The pooch, Otis, is a German Short Haired Pointer mix. He’s got black fur with gray and white patches.
Family members and friends have posted details about Otis on the “Laramie Pets – Lost and Found” Facebook page. Details on that page have elaborated that the dog is wearing a collar with a phone number on it. That number however belonged to a phone that was damaged in the crash and no longer works. They are asking anyone with information on the dog to instead call (785) 821-1268
