In recognition of Native American Heritage Month, students, staff, families, and community members are encouraged to join us for a week of themed days that honor the cultures, traditions, and history of the Indigenous peoples of our region. Each day offers a meaningful way to show pride, learn, and celebrate together.
Monday, Nov. 17 – Native Bling Day
Wear beaded items and other Native American jewelry.
Tuesday, Nov. 18 – Rock Your Mocs Day
Bring your moccasins to school and wear them proudly through the hallways.
Wednesday, Nov. 19 – Ribbon Clothing Day
Dress in ribbon skirts, ribbon shirts, or Native-print clothing.
Thursday, Nov. 20 – Roots and Respect Day
Wear clothing that reflects your tribal or family heritage.
Friday, Nov. 21 – Tribal Colors Day
Show your pride by wearing colors from your tribal flag or your school colors.
