(Riverton, WY) – The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office has initiated an investigation after a male subject was reported to have been treated for a gunshot injury at a Riverton hospital early Wednesday morning, according to the FCSO call log issued on November 13.
The FCSO call log states that dispatch received a call from the hospital at 1:28 AM on Wednesday, November 12, reporting that they were treating an individual with a gunshot wound to the arm.
“A male subject was treated at the hospital for a gunshot wound to the arm,” the call log narrative informs. “Investigation revealed that the subject had been shot while sitting in a vehicle following an altercation with another subject in the area of the Gardens North trailer park.”
The narrative concludes by stating that “the incident remains under investigation” and that there is “no further information available at this time.”
